Keyboarding

This keyboarding course is appropriate for elementary grades 3 through 5 and middle school students. The curriculum introduces new keys by rows where students first learn the middle row, then the top row and then the bottom row of the keyboard. The content focuses on sight and high-frequency words. This course assumes no keyboarding experience and will guide students across the keyboard. Note: Lightweight devices such as Apple iPads, Google Chromebooks, and tablets have limited support for Java and programming-based content. Therefore, students will need a laptop or computer for this course.
